A warm welcome awaits
you at Berth Fedw Farm.
Dating from around 1700 and situated in a breathtaking and tranquil
position 1000ft above sea level within the Brecon Beacons National
Park in Mid Wales. There is direct access to footpaths, bridleway
and mountain bike routes. Yet Brecon is only 10 miles and the
world famous book town of Hay on Wye only 7 miles distant. We
are also only less than an hour from the M4 and M5 motorways.
At our small organic farm we have a stone farmhouse, cottage
and converted outbuildings and can offer a choice of holiday
accommodation from a Welsh Tourist Board 4 * accredited self
catering cottage, Bed and Breakfast, a bunkhouse and a camping
field.

It is not only humans that
are catered for. We accept well behaved dogs and due to
our position on the Three Rivers Ride we also offer stabling
and grazing for horses. Our horse & rider holiday
packages include maps and route guides or you can be accompanied
if required. In addition, via a link up with other accommodation
partners, a four day riding loop of this area of Brecknockshire
and Radnorshire has been arranged with luggage transfer
ect as required.
Other sports are also catered for. Walking and mountain
bike routes run straight from the farm and with the Wye
and Usk rivers nearby there is ample scope from kayaking,
white water sports and fishing.
Within two miles is the world renowned Black
Mountains Gliding Club, the only club in the UK which
offers all year gliding. |
